Turn this weather meter into a portable weather station with the LINK and vane mount features. Your data logs can be transferred to a mobile device wirelessly. The vane mount securely mounts to the 5500 to any tripod and the vane and precision pivot keeps the Kestrel oriented into the wind for continuous measurement and logging of wind speed, wind direction, and all other key weather parameters. The LINK app also displays the Kestrel’s real-time readings on a vivid, customizable dashboard providing remote functions up to 100′ away.
LINK is a simple communication to Windows and Mac computers is provided through the optional LiNK .USB Dongle or USB Data Transfer Cable. Download your data to view, analyze and archive. Enables firmware update of Kestrel 5 series meters. LINK for iOS and Android (coming soon) Wirelessly connect with iOS and Android devices.
