Leica Geosystems has introduced a new set of internal Li-ion batteries that are used in Leica Geosystems field controller, GNSS antennas, manual total stations, digital levels and laser scanner. The new batteries, GEB334 and GEB364, require a special firmware version on the instrument to operate.

Below is the list of affected Leica Geosystems products. If you own one of these products and have purchased a GEB334 or a GEB364 battery, please ensure you have installed the latest software version to your instrument before using the new battery.
