Terraplus KT-10 Magnetic Susceptibility Meter

Prospectors is pleased to introduce the KT-10 version 2, a new-generation magnetic susceptibility meter that allows users to input depth correlation information, receive measurement results in either SI or CGS units, and features a large internal memory. The KT-10 v2 incorporates a range of new benefits, including Bluetooth to transfer Mag-Sus readings integrated with GPS coordinates, more accurate scanning, higher sensitivity, and a graphic display.

It’s come with two types available : Circular Coil (KT-10 v2) or Rectangular Coil (KT-10R v2)

The KT-10 v2 (or KT-10R v2 ) large memory allows the user to input information to correlate every core measurement to its depth. The user can enter information such as borehole I.D., core tray number, the number of rows in a tray, start and end depths, and depth intervals. In the Scanner mode, depth intervals can be recorded with the push of a button. All readings between depth intervals are interpolated into the data for reference.

The KT-10/KT-10R v2 includes a real time diameter correction for both split and full cores. The user can select from a range of drill core diameters (AQ, BQ, NQ, HQ and PQ) or non-standard ones from 2.4 to 12 cm.
